Chef Quinn Staple leads with a creativity and fervour unlike any other. As Executive Chef of the Glencoe Club Chef Staple oversees its three busy restaurants and event spaces. Prior to joining the Glencoe Club Chef Staple spent a wonderful decade working for Hotel Arts Group. During that time as their Executive Chef, Staple oversaw three distinguished restaurants: Yellow Door Bistro, Oxbow and Freestyle Social Club & Poolside (formerly Raw Bar); as well as all in-room dining, banquets, off-site catering and all catering for SAIT’s campuses for Hotel Arts Group. Staple completed his time with Hotel Arts Group as Director of Food and Beverage where he led all aspects of their Food and Beverage endeavours.

Chef Staple began his culinary journey working in Canmore’s busy restaurant scene where he grew up. Upon graduation from SAIT’s culinary program, Chef Staple jumped into the culinary world at full force. He garnered experience at several downtown restaurants, as well as conducting a stint at the distinguished Alinea – a three-Michelin-starred restaurant in Chicago. He draws from those experiences to ensure each guest receives a truly memorable encounter. In recent years, Chef Staple has collected numerous accolades, including the 2015 White Hat Restaurant of the Year, Avenue Calgary’s Top 5 Chefs to Watch Out For, competed in many years at Gold Metal Plates and was recognized by the University of Guelph for their Innovation in Good Food Award. Additionally, Chef Staple is active in the Calgary community, participating in numerous charity events, competitions, and culinary festivals.
