Our team, Team Torque, is paddling fiercely to fight cancer.

This will be my 4th time helping with the event.  I paddled 2 years, then 2 years photographing our team. COVID didn't allow us to be together for the past two years, So I am excited to get back.

Radiated scar tissue issues has set me back for the past 5 years.  Hopefully it will continue to heal, and I am definitely regaining my health. PRISMA has helped me during this time immensely. In 2015 my dad passed away, so I would like to donate in memory of him, and my coworker Ted Bogardus who passed away 2016.  I do miss them and so many others.

Most of us have unfortunately been touched by cancer in some way and the Dragon Boat Upstate Festival provides an opportunity for us to honor and remember loved ones that have faced or continue to face the disease. Your donation helps provide much-needed support for local cancer prevention and early detection, advanced cancer research and patient programs, as well as life-changing patient and survivor programs.
