Join me in supporting cancer patients in our community by donating to my Prisma Health Dragon Boat Upstate Festival team. Your donation helps provide much-needed support for local cancer prevention and early detection, advanced cancer research and paitent programs, as well as life-changing patient and survivor programs. 

 

Most of us have unfortunately been touched by cancer in some way. My own experience: I lost two grandmothers to cancer (breast and GI), then my sweet Daddy died of pancreatic cancer, and, more recently, I have had multiple friends diagnosed with cancer. Most of those have breast cancer in various stages. It is devastating to here the news and crushes my heart every time I hear about a new diagnosis.  Dragon Boat Upstate Festival provides an opportunity for us to honor and remember loved ones that have faced or continue to face the disease.
