Cancer Society of Greenville County

The partnership between Prisma Health Cancer Institute and Cancer Society of Greenville County is a natural fit as we both strive to provide comprehensive services to cancer patients and their families. We aren't satisified with just providing the best treatment for the cancer, but also support the pyschosocial needs of our patients and their families.

For over 50 years, the Cancer Society of Greenville County has been caring for local residents affected by cancer, not only by providing financial assistance, but also through emotional and educational support and many countless other means of simply being present with people in their need.

We are grateful for our continued partnership with the Caine Halter Family YMCA staff and volunteers, and for their support in planning and executing Run4life. Through the Caine Halter Family YMCA, we honor Caine and his commitment to strengthening his community and join together to race against cancer.

Over the past decade, the Halter Family has committed countless hours to planning and executing the Run4Life event and has helped raise more than $1.3 million for cancer research and patient support programs that are helping patients locally. We are grateful for the opportunity to celebrate Caine's Legacy with his family, friends and community - all of whom play an integral part in fighting cancer right here at home.
