Welcome to my personal fundraising page for Long Trail Day! The Long Trial is in the heart of the Vermont’s Green Mountain National Forest, which has had a special place in my heart for most of my adult life.  During my days working for the Forest Service, I groomed many parts of the trail, connected with many of its visitors, helped the growth of native plant species along its edges, and met my best friend and the love of my life there.  

October 7, 2023 is Long Trail Day.  My colleagues and I are raising funds to support the Green Mountain Club.  

The Green Mountain Club does really great work to support and maintain (the very busy!) hiking trails in Vermont, especially the Long Trail. This is my way of giving back to the trail that means so much to me.
