Seafood many supermarkets is sourced from destructive and gruesome fishing methods that damage our ocean habitats and indiscriminately injure and kill other marine animals, like sharks, turtles, and dolphins. These unintended victims — called bycatch — are just thrown back into the sea dead or dying. 

It doesn't have to be this way. Some progressive grocery stores already proven that sustainable policies that protect our oceans are not only good for marine life — they are also smart business. 

Tell your supermarket to create sustainable seafood purchasing policies, stop selling Red List seafood, and provide more alternatives to destructively fished products for customers.
