Tell Chicken of the Sea to clean up its act!

#NotJustTuna

The global tuna industry is out of control. In a relentless search for profits, tuna suppliers have been caught doing anything to save a buck including forcing people to work on fishing boats for little or no pay. Aggressive fishing practices overfish our oceans while capturing and killing thousands of sharks, sea turtles, and other untargeted animals.

Chicken of the Sea, one of the US’s biggest tuna brands, is owned by the biggest tuna company in the world tuna giant Thai Union. Thai Union has been embroiled in scandals and human rights abuses throughout its seafood supply chains. Chicken of the Sea claims to be sustainable, but its policies do little to protect ocean wildlife or workers at sea.

Take action today and tell Mr. Shue Wing Chan, Chicken of the Sea CEO, to commit to a strong policy that ensures that the company’s tuna is truly sustainable and ethically-sourced.

Message

Dear Mr. Shue Wing Chan,

It's time for Chicken of the Sea to step up as a leader and actually embrace sustainability and the protection of human rights, rather than just giving lip service.

Sincerely,
