Ask your Senators to protect the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge

Arctic Refuge

The fossil fuel industry is determined to get into the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, where it will drill in an area that is critical to the culture and livelihood of Alaska Native communities — and important habitat for polar bears, caribou, and other unique wildlife. President Obama has put in motion plans to protect the area by officially designating it as Wilderness, but he needs Congress to agree.

Tell your Senators to cosponsor the bill to designate the coastal plain of the Arctic Refuge as a Wilderness, in order to protect this fragile habitat from the fossil fuel industry.

Dear Senator,

Please support President Obama's Wilderness recommendation for the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge by co-sponsoring Senate Bill 2341.
