Save Mardi Gras Pass

mgp.jpg

A new branch of the Mississippi River, Mardi Gras Pass, is the latest target of Sundown Energy LP.  Sundown wants to fill in Mardi Gras Pass, a new natural channel, with limestone and pipe culverts to build a road for oil transport. We cannot afford to allow our public officials to squander another opportunity to restore the river’s nourishing floodwaters into our delta.

Complete the form below to send your message. Ask the Corps to let the River build new land, to let coastal scientists study the River’s work, and to let Sundown Energy do right by Louisiana and provide an alternatives analysis for its oil transport project.
