In Memory of John "Jack" Tressy

John “Jack” Joseph Tressy, 89, beloved husband of Jean (Sanders) Tressy of West Hartford, died Saturday, April 6, 2024, at St. Mary Home. Born in Hartford, the son of the late John and Margaret (McNamara) Tressy, he made his home in West Hartford most of his life. Jack proudly served in the US Marines Corps during the Korean war. He owned Avontown Framing Shoppe and in retirement was a school crossing guard for the Town of West Hartford. Jack was devout catholic and was an active member of St. Timothy Parish. Jack is survived by his wife of 46 years, Jean Tressy; his six children, Kathleen Murphy, Patricia Tressy, Timothy Tressy, Richard Tressy, David Tressy, and John Tressy; his grandchildren, Kiley Murphy and Abigail Wagner, Connor and Christian Martinez, Samantha and Luke Tressy, Kian Kozyrski-Tressy; and his sister Marylou Tressy. He was predeceased by his daughter Maribeth Tressy.
