My Mom Debbie Kingan
My mom Deborah Kingan died under hospice care in August 2022,, and I will be walking with our team "Missing our Mom's" in the 2023 Hospice Memorial Walk on Sunday, May 21, along with raising funds for Hospice & Palliative Care Buffalo. Although I was already a hospice nurse, I couldn't have provided the care I did at home, and ultimately at the Hospice Inpatient Unit, without all the wonderful people on her Hospice Team.
Unfortunately, many of us on our team have experienced the loss of our mom's over the past couple of years, but quite a few have lost them within the past year. So we decided to come together and celebrate their memory by fundraising for such a wonderful cause.
Hospice & Palliative Care Buffalo provides exceptional care and life enhancing services for seriously ill patients and their families. Your support helps HPCB provide comfort care to over 1,000 patients daily across Western New York.
