In honor of my son, Nathan, I will be walking in the 2023 Hospice Memorial Walk on Sunday, May 21st, along with raising funds for Hospice & Palliative Care Buffalo.
Since he was born in September 2018, Nathan has been a patient of HPCB’s Essential Care for Children program. He has been admitted to Hospice care three times for a total of 560 days. He is currently receiving palliative care.
Nathan has an amazing team of nurses, doctors, social workers, and therapists who work with his pediatrician and other specialists to keep him out of the hospital by managing symptoms at home. We are beyond grateful for the amazing and selfless individuals at Essential Care and HPCB.
