#GratitudeProject was created as a workshop offering, integrating vocal techniques and gratitude by connecting a song to a dedicated cause. An important part of the arts is connecting to the world around you. Our first inaugural #GratitudeProject honours the brave health care workers and first responders who have always kept us safe, especially now, during COVID. This workshop introduces students to the difference they can make, bringing awareness and gathering support for foundations leading a worthy cause. Through music, we can make a difference.
The de Souza School of Music creates a style of education that brings together confidence building, passion, and goal setting, while updating the techniques and beliefs to include vocal science in music education. Every student is given the opportunity to grow and to foster a love of music that leads eventually to opportunities to connect with real-world services like professional studios, videographers and content creators, all by building a community of like-minded creatives. Music can be the road to real life, whether in the music business or learning the skills you would need to thrive around it.
