Are you a health professional working with people living with breast cancer, or hoping to in the future? Do you want to acquire leading-edge, practical information to help you provide comprehensive breast cancer rehabilitation?
The Canadian Cancer Rehabilitation and Education Institute (CCREI) is pleased to partner with the Juravinski Hospital and Cancer Centre Foundation (JHCCF), the Ontario Physiotherapy Association (OPA), and the Hamilton District of the OPA to host a one-day workshop: "Leading-edge Practices in Rehabilitation for People living with Breast Cancer." Experts in the treatment and rehabilitation of people living with breast cancer will provide up-to-date information on current and trending care of people living with breast cancer.
This workshop is of interest to physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nurses, nurse practitioners, certified manual lymphatic massage therapists, kinesiologists, primary care providers, exercise trainers, physiatrists, oncologists, palliative care team members and learners.
CCREI and all of our speakers have waived their speaking fees. Workshop proceeds will be donated to the Juravinski Hospital and Cancer Centre Foundation, to support people in financial need and living with cancer, to attend the CanWell Exercise and Education Program - an award-winning, evidence informed community-based exercise program for people with cancer. Low registration fee of $250.00 includes lunch, refreshments and course materials. Limited seating. Online registration closes on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at noon.
