Stop Discrimination

Tell the House to pass ENDA now!

Seven in ten Americans and a majority of U.S. Senators agree: it's time to pass federal legislation that gives workplace protections for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people.

No one should lose their job for being who they are. But in 29 states, there's no state law against firing or refusing to hire someone because they're lesbian, gay or bisexual. If you're transgender, it's a whopping 33 states.

Send a message to Congress now: tell them to push for a House vote on ENDA.

Letter:

ENDA must move forward

Dear [Member of Congress],

A core American principle is that workers should be judged based on their ability to do the job and their performance. Last fall, the United States Senate, on a bipartisan basis endorsed that fundamental principle by passing the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA).

Your support of this crucial legislation means so much to me and the majority of Americans who believe in workplace equality.

Please help make our country stronger, fairer, and more competitive by pushing for a House vote on ENDA this year.

Sincerely,
