Panic! at the Disco was recently picketed by the the infamous anti-LGBT Westboro Baptist Church. They may be based out of Topeka, Kansas but they are notorious for displaying their hate at funerals, near HRC's headquarters and now at Panic! at the Disco concerts. So the band chimed in on Twitter with an awesome pledge to donate $20 to HRC's nationwide campaign for LGBT equality for every anti-LGBT protester who showed up.
Now the band has committed at least $1,000 (plus 5% of their merchandise sales at a recent concert) to HRC. HRC sees anti-LGBT attacks from groups like the Westboro Baptist Church on the daily,
that's why we need your ongoing support today. So right now we're asking you to help match the band's donation with a $20 or a $5 contribution today. If you make a gift today, we'll add your name to our HUGE thank you card to our friends from Panic! at the Disco.
