U.S. House: Support World Hearing Day Resolution

Show Your Support for Hearing Healthcare!

A resolution has been introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives recognizing March 3, 2018, as World Hearing Day.  This annual day of awareness brings attention to the importance of hearing preservation and hearing loss identification and treatment.  This resolution recognizes the critical role of the hearing care professional - including hearing aid specialists and audiologists - in patient care and outcomes.

Now we need your helpPlease complete the below form with your contact information (home address please!) to send an email to your U.S. Congressperson, asking him or her to co-sponsor and support adoption of the resolution.  Greater support of the resolution itself will send a message to House leadership of the widespread interest in this issue.  You can also customize the body of the email itself to share your personal experiences with hearing loss.  Once done, hit "Send Message" at the bottom of the page and your email will be delivered to your House member based on the address you've used.  You will then be directed to a confirmation page so you know your email has been sent.

As your constituent, I ask that you co-sponsor and support adoption of H.Res. 740, recognizing March 3rd as World Hearing Day. Founded by the World Health Organization, World Hearing Day is marked annually as a day of awareness about hearing loss prevention and treatment.

It is for these reasons, that I urge you to co-sponsor and support the adoption of H.Res. 740. To do so, please contact Christopher Buki in Rep. McKinley's office at christopher.buki@mail.house.gov or Casey Badmington in Rep. Thompson's office at casey.badmington@mail.house.gov.
