Pack the Pantry for Older Neighbors in Southeast DC

Each year, Iona's Food Pantry Plus makes nearly 1,000 deliveries of essential food, toiletries, and home products to vulnerable older adults across the District. 

But this year has been particularly hard—and our neighbors in Southeast DC need help. We need YOU to help us create an onsite Food Pantry at Iona's Washington Home Center in Southeast DC. Older adult participants, caregivers, and families at our center will be able to take needed food and supplies home with them at the end of the day, whenever needed.

But this isn't just about food—it's also about providing older adults with ALL the supports they need. With your gift, we'll connect seniors and their families to monthly support groups and social workers at the center in order to provide the information, resources, and support that everyone deserves to live and age well.
