Grand Master Tang first joined the Simms/Mann UCLA family in 2006 to teach cancer survivors how to recover their health during and after treatments. His Wednesday classes, conducted outside the hospital, have provided a great benefit to his students, creating a calm refuge for them – and also for the UCLA medical community at large. Everyone who even just passes by the classes is given the opportunity to become calmer and healthier.

Master Tang is truly a hidden gem. He’s highly respected in the martial arts community, having competed in and won many competitions, but his humble nature has kept him relatively unknown to the larger world. His students, however, are well aware of their incredible luck at being able to receive his instructions in how to become healthy and to be well, physically and mentally, until the end of life.

He is a true master.

The Simms/Mann – UCLA Center for Integrative Oncology depends on voluntary contributions from patients, their families and other friends of the Center to support its many programs offered without fees. Your gift today helps the Simms/Mann Center continue its essential work.
