I am extremely excited once again to be part of Jawonio's 2022 Hometown Heroes challenge.  I want to personally thank everyone again for your donations which allowed me to meet my goal of $2500.  This year I am shooting for $5000 and this is why.  My nephew John Luca, who is pictured here, is one of the most loving, smart and amazing people you will ever meet.  JL is Autistic and verbally challenged.  But this doesn't stop him from horseback riding or playing basketball with his friends or showing his Aunt how to do a puzzle in record time.  It's just hard for him to communicate at times. JL has been a part of Jawonio's programs for many years.  They do and have made a difference in him in so many ways.  Many friends and acquaintances have had their child come to Jawonio for one reason or another.
