Yoga for a Reason
Living Beyond Breast Cancer offers information from personal and clinical perspectives spanning from diagnosis and treatment options to living your best everyday life. When you support LBBC, you’re helping ensure that anyone impacted by breast cancer has access to this trusted information and community of support.
About 1 in 8 U.S. women develop invasive breast cancer over the course of her lifetime. In 2021, estimated 281,550 new cases of invasive breast cancer are expected to be diagnosed in women in the U.S., along with 49,290 new cases of non-invasive breast cancer*. With your support, Living Beyond Breast Cancer will be there to ensure they don’t go through this experience alone.
Funds raised from Reach & Raise support:
- Trusted information on the latest in medical updates, practical tips for living with breast cancer, and resources on self-care including nutrition, exercise, and meditation to over 600,000 people each year
- Peer support and fellowship to nearly 750 people on our Breast Cancer Helpline and 3,500 in our closed Facebook groups
- Financial assistance grants for those in treatment and facing financial difficulty for basic needs such as rent and utilities. Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have awarded nearly $400,000 in grants.
