If it seems like this event is happening early this year, you are right, it got shifted from the fall to the spring this year. March 2 of this year marks thirteen years since Andrew and I lost Kay to lung cancer. She never had smoked, but still contracted it. Lung cancer is by far the leading cause of cancer death in the US, accounting for about 1 in 5 of all cancer deaths. Each year more people die of lung cancer than of colon, breast and prostate cancers combined.

On March 25, 2023, I will be participating in the Triangle LUNGe Forward 5K Run, Walk & Celebration benefiting the Lung Cancer Initiative. Please help support me in this important project by contributing to this great cause.
