League of Conservation Voters

Tell Congress we want more national parks!

The House of Representatives is voting THIS WEEK to determine the fate of our last remaining wild places. Americans across the country overwhelmingly support national parks and public lands, yet Congress wants to gut the only law that has protected new land over the last 5 years -- the Antiquities Act.

The Preventing New Parks Bill is a direct assault on our national parks, national monuments, and conservation heritage. So please add your name to the growing list of concerned citizens who are urging their member of Congress to vote against this terrible bill.

Vote NO on HR 1459

Dear

Nearly half of America's national parks--like the Grand Canyon, Acadia of Grand Teton, and Olympic National Parks--began as national monuments under the Antiquities Act. They are national treasures, and should be protected, not prevented. That's why I, as your constituent, urge you to vote NO on HR 1459.

Sincerely,
