Margo Weinberger - Welcome to My Personal Bat Mitzvah Page!
Dear Friends and Family,
Soon I will be celebrating my Bat Mitzvah. I am very grateful that I have a wonderful and loving family that gives me happiness and all that I need.
I have chosen to support an orphanage in Israel because Israel is a country that unites all Jews the world over. It is not only a democratic and important country but it is OUR HOME and has a very special place and meaning in my heart.
My parents taught me just how important it is to do mitzvot, chesed and to help make the world a better place (Tikun Olam). While I may not be able to change the world by myself , I can hopefully make a world of difference for an Orphaned girl in Israel.
Girls, the same age as me at the Lev Lalev orphanage do not have parents to tuck them in at night, care for them or to do homework with them. While I am blessed I feel very badly for them.
For my Bat Mitzvah I want to help these unfortunate girls have a happier and brighter life. I will be walking 100 miles to raise funds for those who are not as privileged as I am. My last mile will end at the Kotel in January of 2019.
Please help me to stop their pain and give them the chance to succeed!
