It's That Time Again...Come out on Saturday April 27th and Walk with me and my Team at Piedmont Park!!!
I’m participating in the Lupus Foundation of America, Georgia Chapter's Walk to End Lupus Now™ in Atlanta Georgia because Lupus came into my life 18 years ago and turned it upside down... This event is important because it raises critical funds to improve the quality of life for all people affected by lupus through programs of research, education, support and advocacy.
Lupus is an unpredictable and misunderstood disease in which the immune system is out of balance, causing damage to any organ system in the body. The exact cause of lupus is unknown and while lupus can strike anyone at any time, 90 percent of the 1.5 million Americans living with the disease are females.
The Lupus Foundation of America, Georgia Chapter is the only national force devoted to solving the mystery of lupus, one of the world’s cruelest, most devastating diseases. We envision a life free of lupus. That is why I’m coming to you now, to ask for your support. My personal goal is to raise as much money as I possibly can through your donations and your loyalty to the Lupus Foundation of America, Georgia Chapter...I am the voice for those who can no longer speak, my two cousins, Donna Davis and Cherelle Jackson, and my dear friend LaTosha Tre Lewis...all these amazing ladies lost there battle to Lupus. So I am here to Scream, Shout, & Advocate Lupus Awareness!!!
