In September of 2021, I joined the Lupus Foundation of America, Heartland Chapter as the Special Events Manager. This August marks twenty years since I lost my mom due to lupus complications. This will be my third Walk to End Lupus and it has been so inspiring and an honor to be a part of this organization that helps people affected by lupus every day. Thank you for your support!!

- Lupus is a mysterious and misunderstood autoimmune disease. It strikes without warning, affects each person differently, and has no known causes or cure.
- Lupus symptoms can be severe and highly unpredictable and can damage any organ or tissue, from the skin or joints to the heart or kidneys.
