Join us again at Piedmont Park for our Walk to End Lupus Now experience taking place on April 26, 2025.

The Walk is a FUNDRAISER! Every Dollar, Every Donation Counts in the Fight to End Lupus!

Team Captains and Walkers - Challenge everyone on your team to raise funds.10 walkers x $50 each = $500! If team members can take time to come to the park, they can raise money. Send emails each day until Walk Day. Don't be shy, and ask everyone. People will give because they care and BECAUSE YOU ASKED!

 

$500/$1000 Walker Signs

The deadline to qualify for a $500 and $1000 course marker sign is THURSDAY,  APRIL 11TH.

2024 Walk Day Details

8 - 11 AM MARTA shuttles TO the park from Midtown Station, team picnics open
9 AM Check-In Opens, Team Tents Set-Up
10:30 AM Stage Program
11 AM Walk Starts
11:30 - 1:30 PM MARTA shuttles FROM the park returning to Midtown Station
1:30 PM Breakdown begins

Walk Route Options

We have two options

 

  • 1.5 mile walk long course
  • 1/2 mile short course for those who want to walk a shorter option

    Take MARTA to get to the Park!

    Don’t drive! Take our FREE shuttles from the MARTA Midtown station. Don’t miss the Walk stuck in traffic or looking for a parking spot!

    Please Note: Meet the shuttle on the 10th street side of the MARTA station.

     

    Enjoy Our Fabulous Walk Day

    Bring a tent and picnic and enjoy the food for sale and vendors, entertainment and an empowering day of hope and passion!

    Please Note: The Chapter’s vehicles and volunteers CANNOT transport walkers and picnic supplies from ANYWHERE in the park due to insurance liability. No cars allowed in the park. NO grilling by city ordinance. NO tent stakes; bring bungee cords to secure chairs and coolers.

    Checkout the prizes YOU can earn by fundraising for the 2024 Atlanta Walk to End Lupus Now. Every walker who raises $100 will receive a official walk t-shirt at the Walk, one t-shirt per registered walkers.
