Tell the Commission your reasons for supporting the Sandpiper pipeline.

pipeline 600 X 417.jpg

Enbridge plans to build a 600-mile pipeline that would connect North Dakota’s Bakken oil fields to Enbridge terminals in Clearbrook and Superior, Wisconsin.

The proposed Sandpiper pipeline could put hundreds of union Laborers to work, keep fuel prices down, and prevent deadly rail accidents.

But none of that will happen without your help. Pipeline opponents are already lobbying the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission to kill the project.

Tell the Commission your reasons for supporting the Sandpiper pipeline.

-Why does Minnesota need it? (Construction jobs, gas prices, reduce rail safety/congestion, support domestic energy production, etc.)

-How can the environmental impacts be minimized? (Use skilled construction workforce; best environmental practices; Enbridge investments in pipeline safety, etc.)

-Why does Sandpiper matter to you? (Need work, worried about rail safety, can’t afford high gas prices, etc.)

I am writing to urge that the Public Utilities Commission grant a Certificate of Need for the proposed Sandpiper pipeline. I believe that Minnesota needs the Sandpiper pipeline. I also believe that Sandpiper can be built and operated with minimal impact on the environment. Here's why:
