Barktober Fest 2020 (Updated 7/30/20)

Dear Barktober Fest Supporters,

As our 23rd Annual Barktober Fest approaches, we’d like to take a moment to update you on the latest event developments. With more than 1000 animals coming through our doors since the start of the pandemic, there has never been a time when we have needed your support more. If you’ve ever considered participating in the walk, this is our urgent request for you to register, and help us raise critical funds for pets in need.

This year there are multiple ways you can participate in Barktober Fest:

1. Beginning August 17th we will host 6 weeks of online challenges and competitions to help raise money for the Walk for the Animals. From best tricks and cutest costumes, winners of these challenges will earn fantastic prizes as well as exclusive animal experiences brought straight to you at home. Can you say Backyard Kitten Party? Keep an eye on your email and all of our social media channels for weekly announcements.

2. Register for a Barktober Fest Block Party! We’ll send you everything you need to host your very own mini Barktober Fest. Let’s just call it a party in a box. You can choose this option to show your support right from your own front yard. Remember, it’s not where you walk - it’s who you walk with, and your pet is the best walking partner around.

OR

Make an appointment to walk at the Lollypop Farm campus between September 21 and October 5. We’ll be offering limited admission chances to experience the beauty of our Farm Walk. Bring your own pet and witness the direct impact of your support in person. We’ll have safety precaustions in place, and ask that you wear a mask. When you make an appointment to walk on September 26 at Lollypop Farm, we’ll have exciting pop-up entertainment and sponsors present to cheer you on!

3. Everyone leaves a mark! Your support has never meant more. When you complete your walk -either on campus or from afar - we’ll place a temporary marker on our front lawn showcasing your lasting impact for the homeless and abused animals of Lollypop Farm. Together we can make a difference, and we hope you will help us fill our front lawn with a showcase of love for the animals of Lollypop Farm.

Thank you for your continued support. Please register today! Registrants will be kept updated on changes as we continue to update this year's event for a successful life-saving event for the pets in our community. For questions, please contact Senior Manager of Special Events, Amanda Glann at (585) 223-1330 ext. 143 or aglann@lollypop.org.
