Hello fellow Lymphomaniacs,
Hope you're all well. It's been a while since the last walk to raise money for the Lymphoma Research Foundation and this year's date/venue has just been announced. It's Sunday, March 3rd at the Multipurpose Fields at University of Texas at Dallas. That's right off Campbell Road.
If you're able to join us for the walk (and donate to the cause), that would be wonderful. If you're not able to make the walk, your donation will still be greatly appreciated. As always, thanks so much for supporting this important cause to help cure blood cancer.
For walkers: The registration for walkers begins that morning at 8:30, although you can preregister online. The brief opening ceremony begins at 9:45am and the actual walk begins at 10am. The whole time, including the walk (especially if you preregister), should take no more than two hours, likely less. You can walk as much or little as you like. There's no designated distance. It's all about joining together for the worthy cause.
Sending much love,
Larry
P.S. Exciting news that's kind of related: My screenplay entitled SESSIONS, a drama about two people who fall in love over the course of their chemo sessions for lymphoma, is moving right along. An actor/producer in London named Nicholas Pinnock will be the producer/co-star and they're going out to actresses shortly for the co-lead role. It's a really beautiful story that I know will touch and inspire many, so fingers crossed!
