Celebrating Cancer Research & Chex Mix
Grandma Melba's cookie jar was always full and her arms were always open, especially to us lucky grandkids. She would have celebrated her 90th birthday this fall and an online bake sale in her honor seems appropriate!
She approached life with pluck and perspective gained from growing up with 4 siblings on the Bar J Lazy V homestead. It's the same kind of outlook we can all learn from - whether navigating a cancer diagnosis, a pandemic or any of life's challenges. Pictured here in 1958, she is holding her youngest a few weeks after her husband had cancer-related surgery.
I'll be selling my homemade Chex Mix to help raise awareness and urgently-needed funds to support LRF and their mission to eradicate lymphoma and serve those touched by lymphoma - the most common blood cancer.
For a taste of my treats (I'll ship to you), please donate online to my fundraising page. Not only will you get to enjoy some old school Chex Mix, but you'll be supporting cancer research and an organization that makes an impact.
You can donate online - It's safe, secure and easy. Just click on the "Donate" button on the right hand side of this page.
Special thanks to all Potter Nelsons! I will email you to arrange specifics & confirm details.
