Notorious C.U.R.E. is back at it again...
and we need your help!
Nearly one million people in the U.S. are living with, or in remission from, a form a lymphoma. Despite this staggering statistic, many people will never know about lymphoma unless they are, or a loved one is, diagnosed. Coupled with the complexity of the disease (nearly 100 subtypes), it is difficult for patients and their loved ones to find accurate and reliable information on their specific disease type.
In addition to lack of reliable information on lymphoma, obtaining a research grant from the National Instititutes of Health (NIH) is more challenging than ever for early career scientists.
Only 2% of researchers ages 35 or younger currently receive independent research grants from the NIH, compared with 21% in 1980.
The Lymphoma Research Foundation is needed now more than ever to empower patients, survivors and their loved ones to have the knowledge needed to become their own health advocate, and early career scientists have a platform to advance the field of lymphoma research.
We have committed to raising funds to support LRF's mission to eradicate lymphoma and serve those touched by this disease.
