Welcome to My Page
Every year, more than 80,000 people are diagnosed with lymphoma-that means every seven minutes, someone in the United States receives a lymphoma diagnosis. Today, more than 700,000 people are currently living with this disease.
I am raising money for the Lymphoma Research Foundation in memory of two people I dearly loved: my father, James Steven Wallace, who was diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) and passed away on December 13th, 2005 and my stepfather, Dr. Michael Rawls Moore Sr., whom put his heart and soul into medical research. He lived his life passionate about his patients and his work in Hematology and Oncology. He passed away on November 23rd, 2017.
On April 8th, 2018 I am running the Rock "n" Roll Half-Marathon in San Francisco in their honor. By donating you will do three things:
- Support the Lymphoma Research Foundation and their mission to eradicate lymphoma.
- Serve those currently touched by this blood cancer.
- Contribute to funding my first half-marathon in honor of my father and stepfather.
Running a half-marathon has always been a bucket list item for me and I intend to do it with purpose. I hope that the commitment I have made will earn the support of my family, friends, and others to reach my fundraising goal. No amount is too small. Thank you so much for your support.
