Jeannine Simon's Tribute/Donation Page
Jeannine Marie Simon, age 69 of Bay City, MI, passed away on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 in Chandler, AZ after a courageous battle with Mantle Cell Lymphoma. Her closest family members were there to comfort her until she received her angel wings. We shared memories, laughs, and tears all by her bedside. Through her affliction, Jeannine showed her family and friends her real strength....love. She wanted to make sure WE were going to be ok. Her selflessness speaks volumes about the person Jeannine was and the legacy she leaves behind.
Jeannine was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Gary Simon, her siblings Tom Plachta and Phyllis Banaszak, and Jeannine’s three sons Chris (wife Sarah), Todd, and Chad (wife Davina). Also, she is survived by her four grandchildren. Chris and his wife’s children, Michael and Olivia. And Chad, with his wife's twin children Luke and Jacob.
Education was very important to Jeannine. That is why her family has decided to be associated with a great organization such as the Lymphoma Research Foundation to raise awareness and funds for research.
Every year, more than 80,000 people are diagnosed with lymphoma - that means every seven minutes, someone in the United States receives a lymphoma diagnosis. Today, more than 700,000 people are currently living with this disease. That is why Jeannine's family supports the Lymphoma Research Foundation and their mission to eradicate lymphoma and serve those touched by this blood cancer.
