JOEY RAMONE FOUNDATION FOR LYMPHOMA RESEARCH
The Joey Ramone Birthday Bash has raised over $60,000 for Lymphoma Research!
Before succumbing to lymphoma April 15th, 2001, Joey Ramone had been planning another of his infamous bashes for his 50th birthday. He’d asked his mother, Charlotte Lesher, and brother Mickey Leigh to promise they’d throw a huge party to celebrate the occasion, regardless.
The Joey Ramone Birthday Bash has since become an annual tradition and one of NYC’s most beloved annual events.
The 2021 Birthday Bash can be viewed online at www.joeyramone.com on Wednesday, May 19th @ 7PM ET.
Every year, more than 100,000 people are diagnosed with lymphoma - that means every five minutes, someone in the United States receives a lymphoma diagnosis. Today, more than one million people are currently living with this disease. That is why I support the Lymphoma Research Foundation and their mission to eradicate lymphoma and serve those touched by this blood cancer. Thank you for your support!
