Hello ! My name is Nicole. Today we are gathered to show our support and raise awareness for Lupus in memory of our dear friend and warrior Elaine Lahti Gareau and many others.  I am a 44 Year old woman who battles  Lupus. Lupus if you aren't aware is a silent disease where it affects many people (Men, Women, Children) in many ways, and in some cases not always the same ways. We all have different experiences with Our Lupus fight.
May 10th is a dedicated World Lupus Day, and we ask that you Join The City of Greater Sudbury and Lupus Ontario to bring more awareness to this cause so that we here in the north can have our voices heard. So let's remember the ones who fought, pray for the ones who are fighting and be hopeful for the future. LET'S  Lace up and paint the North Purple!

To all the warriors that fought and are still fighting this battle we thank you, and we will always be a continuing source of support!
