Lauren and Iain Cycle America

Over summer 2023, Lauren and Iain (daughter and father) will begin in Anacortes, WA and cycle across America, finishing in Annapolis, MD. We're aiming to average 80 miles a day to cover around 3500 miles. To keep things interesting, we will be self-supported, carrying all our gear on the bikes and camping as we go, with the odd night in a hotel when we need a shower:) We plan to follow a northern route through Washington, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Maryland.

MD Anderson cancer research has already made huge advancements in cancer research and has personally made a massive difference to our family. Over three years ago, Iain's mother was diagnosed with an aggressive form of chronic leukemia. Thanks to research at MD Anderson, she takes one pill every day and continues to live a normal, active life! We're grateful for any donations to continue the groundbreaking research happening daily at MD Anderson.
