The Mustard Seed Communities (MSC) mission program is a critical component of our organization.

As a mission volunteer, you bring faith and love to the children we serve. While in Dominican Republic, you will spend time getting to know our residents while completing work projects to improve the facilities where they live and learn. When you return from your week of service, you become the voice of MSC, sharing the stories of children who cannot tell their own.

Mustard Seed Communities (MSC) has two homes in Nicaragua, Hogar Belen Managua and Hogar Belen Diriamba, where we care for children and young adults with disabilities who have been abandoned. Our residents in Nicaragua range in age from 2 to 22 years old. MSC also contributes to outreach projects in La Chureca, the Managua City Dump, where approximately 1,500 people live and work. We manage a Resource Center that offers classes in sewing, baking, English and Mathematics to adult women in the community.
