Welcome to My Personal Page
Thank you for visiting my mission trip page!
I will soon be serving with Mustard Seed Communities in Moneague, Jamaica. Along with my mission team, I'll work with residents who have a range of disabilities. Our goal is to serve them through love and companionship. We'll also complete work projects to improve the infrastructure and facilities where residents live, learn, and play. There are six Northern Kentucky Men’s teams in formation for trips beginning in January through April, 2020. I will be a member of the missionary team which departs on February 22.
During our time in Jamaica, we are at a residential facility for disabled adults known as Jacob’s Ladder. We will be constructing four additional homes which will house up to 8 residents and 2 caretakers each. This will be our 12th trip to Jacob's Ladder which hopefully indicates our commitment to this worthwhile ministry—these beautiful orphans truly are the poorest of the poor. Since we have “adopted” this ministry, we have seen the number of residents grow from about a dozen to over 100. But there is still a waiting list of over 300. So the need remains. More information regarding Mustard Seed Communities is attached.
How can you help? What are we asking?
First, we are asking for your continued prayers for the success of these mission trips in 2020.
Second, please consider making a tax-deductible contribution to Mustard Seed Communities to help us raise $100,000 to support Fr. Gregory’s work in Jamaica.
Donations that are made to Mustard Seed Communities on behalf of Northern Kentucky missionaries are designated for building materials, supplies, and equipment for construction work, in addition to providing food, medication, shelter, and staffing for the residents of Jacob's Ladder.
Donations can be made by check, online with a credit card, and through the donation of stock and corporate matching gift programs. Mustard Seed Communities, Inc. is a registered 501(c)3 organization and all donations will receive a tax receipt.
To donate online with your credit card, go to Mustard Seed's website at www.mustardseed.com, click on "Mission Trips,” then the yellow "Support a Mission" button, select “Search for a Team”, type in “Dressman,” under Team Name click on “Kentucky North – Dressman” and finally click on the “DONATE NOW” button.
To donate via check, mail the check directly to Mustard Seed Communities, 29 Janes Avenue, Medfield, MA 02052. Checks should be payable to Mustard Seed Communities and indicate the name of the mission volunteer who is being supported in the subject or memo field of the check. Or feel free to send your check to me for forwarding.
