FAQs

What is Raise for the Residents?

Raise for the Residents is a virtual event taking place throughout the year. Mission trips have been heavily impacted by the pandemic and although not everyone can be with the residents of Mustard Seed Communities this year, we can let them know that they haven't been forgotten. Through this peer-to-peer fundraising initiative, you are supporting over 600 children and adults with disabilities who have been abandoned and now reside at Mustard Seed Communities. Your participation ensures that the residents in Jamaica, Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, Zimbabwe, and Malawi will continue to receive food, medicine, therapy, and lifelong loving care.

You set the goal for yourself or together as a team—walk the distance from your home to Jamaica. Run a 5K. Bike 50 miles. Zumba for 80 hours. Pray for 100 hours. Do what brings you JOY. The residents of Mustard Seed Communities are filled with joy and they share that joy with all of us. Share their stories and their joy.

When is Raise for the Residents?

What are some ways to participate in Raise for the Residents?

There are many ways you can participate in Raise for the Residents. You can choose endurance based activities, such as running or biking.
