Women Against Multiple Sclerosis (WAMS) is a powerful collective of over 1400 professionals nationwide who support our cause to fundraise, network and honour a woman who is making a difference in business and the community.
The WAMS Gala is a networking opportunity that caters to professionals who want to support of one of Canada’s leading health charities, and work towards creating a world free of multiple sclerosis. Since its inception in 2005, WAMS has raised $4.3 Million nationwide towards a new generation of ground-breaking Canadian researchers working together to find a cure for multiple sclerosis.
As we face a global pandemic, we are unable to gather in-person to show our support for those affected by MS, but we can still act. The current health crisis has impacted all Canadians, and for those affected by MS it’s another uncertain and unpredictable concern on top of an already challenging disease.
The need for information, resources and support programs for people affected by MS is as urgent and critical as ever. With the support of events like WAMS, we can continue to invest in research dedicated to finding a cure and improving the quality of life for all people affected by MS.
