Women Against Multiple Sclerosis (WAMS) is a powerful collective of over 600 professionals who support our cause to fundraise, network and honour a woman who is making a difference in business and the community.
The 15th annual WAMS Gala Luncheon is a networking opportunity that caters to professionals who want to support of one of Canada’s leading health charities, and work towards creating a world free of multiple sclerosis. Since launching in Toronto in 2005, WAMS has raised over $3.8 Million towards a new generation of ground-breaking Canadian researchers working together to find a cure for multiple sclerosis.
Funds raised will support a large research network project of the International Progressive MS Alliance, led by Dr. Douglas Arnold of McGill University that is working to identify why someone is progressing in their disease. Understanding how or why someone may progress in their disease is critical in the development of providing new treatments and hope for those living with MS.
