2019 Women Against Multiple Sclerosis gala luncheon
On May 22, 2019, the 13th Women Against Multiple Sclerosis (WAMS) gala luncheon, organized for the benefit of the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada, took place at the Port of Montreal’s Grand Quay. The event has been held under the honorary presidency of Madeleine Paquin, President and CEO of LOGISTEC, and has brought together around 300 guests, who enjoyed a prime opportunity to network while supporting a good cause. The guests also had the privilege of listening Mélissa Lambert, founder of Lambert bags, a personality known for her outstanding achievements and an inspiring personal story by Martin Legault from Croix Bleue Medavie affected by multiple sclerosis (MS).
More than $ 250 000 was raised at this gala luncheon. The funds will be used to support research on multiple sclerosis and provide quality services to people with this degenerative neurological disease and their families.
The event could not have been successful without the support of the Honorary Committee, chaired by Madeleine Paquin, and we thank the committee members sincerely.
We are very grateful to Logistec for its generous contribution to the success of the WAMS gala luncheon.
