Women Against MS (WAMS) is a powerful network of women building MS awareness and raising research funds to end MS.
The 2019 WAMS Gala raised over $327,000 for important MS research, an incredible collective act of greatness by all involved. Funds raised will support a large research network project of the International Progressive MS Alliance, led by Dr. Douglas Arnold of McGill University that is working to identify why someone is progressing in their disease. Understanding how or why someone may progress in their disease is critical in the development of providing new treatments and hope for those living with MS.
The WAMS Luncheon is an annual networking event in support of one of Canada’s leading health charities, the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada. Since launching in Toronto in 2005, WAMS has raised over $3.8 Million towards a new generation of ground-breaking Canadian researchers working together to find a cure for multiple sclerosis.
In addition to raising funds for MS research and support, the WAMS Luncheon is an excellent networking event that provides table purchasers and sponsors high profile exposure. The luncheon attracts leading professionals and organizations from a wide range of industries in support of the movement to end MS.
