What I'm doing
In one weekend I'm going to be riding from Leduc to Camrose and back, that's over 180 km! I'm cycling to help end MS. Will it be easy, no. Might it rain, or have blowing wind and rain? Yup (it has!) But is living with MS easy? No - and people do it every day. They're fighters, and I'm fighting for them!
** UPDATE 2 ** WOW, with less than 2 weeks to go I've blown past my initial and second goals - thanks everyone! You guys are amazing, you humble me. So I've upped my goal again because, well basically, you guys are so awesome! Thanks so much!
Why I’m cycling to end MS
This will be my TENTH year riding with Team Cyclelopes to raise money to support those with MS! I'm riding because Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is very common in Canada; chances are you know someone who has MS (even if you don't know it). I'm riding because I've had friends and family, and family friends who have been diagnosed with MS. I'm riding for them. I'm riding for everyone suffering with MS, everyone who can't ride.
While there's no cure for MS your support means Canadian families who are affected by this disease do not have to face MS alone.
Since 2006 my team and I have raised over $102,000.00! And last year I raised over $1,600 in 2018! When you donate to my fundraising efforts for the MS Bike Ride your funds are invested into research to find the cause and cure for the disease, while providing services to Canadians with multiple sclerosis and their families. You're helping Canadians in your community.
Thank you in advance for joining the fight to end MS. Thanks for helping me help others!
