My name is Paul Carter, and I am 75 years old and probably the oldest person in the Hinton virtual event. I support the MS Society for many reasons, including the many friends and family that have multiple sclerosis. I have been involved in MS fundraising for the past 19 years, and I am on a long-term mission to End Multiple Sclerosis. 2021 is a special year due to Covid, but I believe that our lives need to normal, and now is the time to resume fund-raising.
I realize that most people are constantly inundated with requests for donations of one kind or another and while most charities are legitimate and beneficial to the community one can only give so much. I encourage you to support me in what ever way you feel you can.
On behalf of all those living and dealing with Multiple Sclerosis, I want to thank you for your time, consideration and generosity. Multiple Sclerosis is a terrible condition but it is one that can and will be beaten. Your support is bringing everyone the gift of hope, which until we find a cure; is a very special gift!
Cheers, Paul
