It's been quite a year, hasn't it? Full of ups, downs and surprises. One thing that is still here is MS. It continues to affects the lives of its vicitims and families. Everyday, in every way.
Once again, the event this year is “virtual”. Each team is doing their own thing due to Covid. My team will be doing a 75 km ride for MS on June 26th. This has been in the planning for sometime by our team Captain and Co-captain, Brian and Brenda Spence. We'll be hitting the roads in Strathcona County on that day for MS - rain or shine. Considerations for distancing and aid enroute have been nailed. The team is revved. We’ve even added a few new members...and yes they're younger and faster. Damn it!
About donations…If you'd like to donate in person, rather than on that pesky internet, please come and visit me at the Twice But Nice Thrift store in Fort Sask, Tuesday-Saturday 9:30-4:30, ok?
If you have any change in your change jar, I'd appreciate it for the MS cause. If you don't, please pass along some good wishes!. You know, something like... 'You go girl! ', 'Safe cycling!' or 'Geez Terri, I didn't know you were still pedalling your ass around town' ...
On Sat, Jun 26th, should you see The Mighty Spinners in their orange team jerseys give us one of those friendly honks. (You know what I mean)...
Thanks for your support and donations! Happy trails,
