23 years and counting since my diagnosis. It's hard to comprehend the changes that have come about in my life's story since then. In one way or another though it is has all been positive because it has led me to here. I'm just so grateful for my health and that of those I hold dear. And I'm still passionate about ending MS!!
This year my virtual ride will consist of a ~110km ride from Annapolis to Wolfville with a few other peeps. Looking forward to it!!ð™‚
MS is an unpredictable, often disabling disease of the central nervous system. With 100,000 Canadians living with MS, Canada has the highest rate of multiple sclerosis in the world. MS is the most common neurological disease affecting young adults in Canada. Every day, three more Canadians are diagnosed with MS. There is no cure.
Funds raised through MS Bike provide services to people with multiple sclerosis and their families, right here in Atlantic Canada. The MS Bike Tour also funds ground-breaking research aimed at finding the cause and cure for the disease.
Have a wonderful year; I plan to!!
