Hey, everybody, my name is Mark. I am a cycling enthusiast, regular Zwifter and a lifelong Metalhead.
Come ride day, I won't just be cranking the pedals, I'll be cranking the volume on everyone's favourite genre of music, Metal, with my team The Metal Revolution. Do you also love a cracking good blast beat, guttural growl, breakdown or twiddly squeel of a guitar solo and riding bikes? Well, why not consider joining the team?
While I personally do not have MS, nor do I directly know anyone who does, I have a long history of raising money for the MS Society of Canada's Saskatchewan division; with six continuous years of fundraising. The first five years of that fundraising were with my former employer, Magic Lantern Theatres and Rainbow Cinemas.
Per capita, Canada has the highest rate of Multiple Sclerosis (MS) in the western world. Of Canada's ten provinces, Saskatchewan has the highest rate per capita of all Canada. If you choose to donate to me and, by virtue, The Metal Revolution team, you will not just be helping to fund Canadian-led research in to MS, but you'll likewise be helping fund financial support of Canadians effected by MS, funding the increase of political advocacy for the advancement of public healthcare support for patients living with MS and helping to provide support for the families of those effected by MS.
Outside of cycling, I am a comic book writer and author under the pen name of Mark Allard-Will. I've written titles including Canadiana comedy comic, Saskatch-A-Man, adventure graphic novel, Årkade and horror-come-folklore graphic novel, The Burning Black: The Legend of Black Shuck.
