This summer I am cycling in the "MSbike Leduc to Camrose" live event to show support for my friend Holly, and to change the future of MS.
Holly and I worked together at Ravencrest Golf and Country Club. She worked there for 20 years and two of my children also worked with Holly when they were students. Holly was diagnosed with MS a few years ago and has had to ease her work schedule, giving up her job at the golf course. Inspired by Holly's courage in the face of this diagnosis I decided to create a team named "Holly's Homies" and ride in this year's MSbike!
So far my son David, daughter Danielle and son-in-law Yannick have joined the team and we are doing the live event together. I say together but what I really mean is they will wait for me at the rest stops!

Over 90,000 Canadians live with MS and the need for information, resources and support programs for them is as urgent and critical as ever. That’s why I am asking for your support in my fundraising.
While Canada has one of the highest rates of MS globally, we are also home to some of the worlds top MS researchers, whose work is at risk of not continuing due to the economic crisis. My fundraising for MS Bike will help support their groundbreaking work into treatments and ultimately a cure.
With every kilometre I cycle and every dollar you give, we will move that much closer to a world free of MS.
